We are the original Scottish producer of PYO pumpkins now celebrating 27 years!

Opening on Saturday 10th October 2026 for our 27th year of PYO pumpkins, we have over 20,000 pumpkins of all sizes, shapes and colours.

If you wish to enjoy our pumpkin patch you must book the day and time slot online.

Season ticket holders are free and do not need to book.

Dogs are more than welcome at Cairnie but we ask they are kept out of our pick your own areas including our Pumpkin Patches, thank you!

Day Passes give access on the date and time slot they are booked for. You can purchase a PYO Pumpkin only pass or a Funyard + PYO Pumpkin pass. They are non refundable but can be amended if availability allows.

Any change of date must be made before 11am on day you’ve booked to visit. Please log into your account before booking or create a customer account at checkout to be able to amend your booking.

Pumpkin Passes

Access to our Pick Your Own Pumpkin areas only, during the time slot booked.

PYO Pumpkin Pass: £1.50
Under 3's are FREE but still require a free pass to be selected to help manage numbers.

Morning slot: 10am to 12.30pm
Afternoon slot: 1pm to 3.30pm
You can turn up any time within your time slot and simply pay for the pumpkins you pick by their type and size. Note: Passes permit entry and do not include credit.
Access to both our Funyard and Pick Your Own Pumpkin areas.
Pumpkin Patch time slots are either:
10am to 12.30pm OR
1pm to 3.30pm
(You have access to our Funyard for the full day)

Adult (16+): £7.50
Child (3-15): £8.50

Under 3's are FREE but still require a free pass to be selected to help manage numbers.
Over 65’s enjoy FREE access to the Funyard but still need to purchase a separate PYO Pumpkin pass if they wish to go picking.

Pumpkin Patch FAQs

All Pumpkin Patch Passes must be booked online for the day you wish to visit
You can book a pass for pumpkin picking only, or a pass that covers entry to both our Funyard + our pumpkin picking.
Season Pass holders are free and do not need to book
The morning slot is 10am to 12.30pm and the afternoon slot is 1pm to 3.30pm (you can arrive and pick any time within your time slot)
Pick Your Own Pumpkin only passes do not include access to our Funyard & Mega Maze area.
With FREE parking simply pay for the pumpkins you pick by size and type (cash & card accepted)
Our pumpkins are grown and tended for at Cairnie, by the time picking starts the leafy green plants will have died back revealing all the amazing pumpkins
We pre cut our pumpkins from the vine so they are ready for you to pick
Our pumpkins are great for both carving and cooking
Keep your pumpkins cool and dry after you’ve picked them, once carved they will last about 4/5 days (only carve when ready to display!)
We love our furry friends but dogs are not allowed into our Pumpkin Patches
With the ever unpredictable Scottish weather we recommend bringing wellies or boots!

Halloween Torchlight Maze

Prepare to be scared!

Our Halloween Torchlight Maze is back!
Dare you enter our 6 acre maze with a labyrinth of paths, as darkness falls you will only have your torch for light. Watch out for surprises that lurk in the shadows and hear screams around you. An evening of fun but recommended for those over 8 years old as it is really quite scary! Running on the 29th, 30th and 31st October, all tickets must be booked online in advance when released. Torches are optional (please bring your own) but no high powered beams allowed, high powered beams will be taken from you at the door and returned on your exit. Doors open at 6.30pm, the maze opens 7pm and we close at 9pm.
